Mission Summary/Objectives

The intended objective for 2 September 2006 was to continue the investigation of the wave that was sampled on 1 Sept 2006.  The decision was made not to fly this intented mission based on several forecast models which did not show  significant development of the planned wave target, but more significant development of a newer wave emerging off the coast on 3 September 2006.
